Rules & Gameplay

The dealer gives 12 cards to themselves and 13 cards to the other two players. The remaining deck sits face-down at the center — that's your draw pile.
A meld can be a set (three or four cards of the same rank) or a sequence run (three or more consecutive cards in the same suit). You lay melds on the table to reduce your hand count.
On your turn, draw one card from the pile, then discard one card to the waste. You can also pick up from the discard pile if it helps your meld.
Win by playing all your cards (Tongits!) or call a "draw" when you feel your hand value is lowest. At showdown, lowest total card value wins. Whoever took the most pots earns the round prize.
You can lay cards onto an opponent's exposed meld (called Sapaw). Smart Sapaw play lets you clear more cards from your hand and block your opponents' scoring.
